Phillip Wright, FACHE
I am an accomplished healthcare executive having served for 38 years in hospital administration, with 18 years at the CEO level.
I have worked for the last 4 years in a consultant capacity with hospitals, physicians, and diagnostic laboratories.
I have demonstrated success in the areas of strategic planning, product/service line development, and leadership enhancement.
Phillip’s Roadmap for Success:
I believe that continuous education, combined with active listening, is the key to being a successful leader.
It is critical that leaders have a mentor, collaborate with colleagues, and actively listen to all levels of staff.
A successful leader must participate in professional associations and conferences and be active in their community
A leader must be vulnerable, have a sense of humor, and practice humilty.
Phillip is a Fellow (FACHE) in the American College of Healthcare Executives
"The support and collaboration of my partners matter greatly to our shared success."
More About Me
I am a husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a son-in-law, a brother-in-law, a healthcare consultant, an influencer, a follower of Christ, a guitar player and singer (influences are James Taylor, Dan Fogelberg, and John Denver), a golfer, and a proud collector of dad jokes.
Interestingly, the stress of being a hospital CEO caused me to become addicted to drinking brake fluid. That’s right, addicted to drinking brake fluid! I wasn’t worried though because I knew that…….I could stop at any time :-)

My purpose in life is to lift others up, lead those who need direction, inspire those who need hope, listen to those who need to talk to someone, and walk each day in a way that honors God. Mark Twain got it right about purpose when he said, “The two most important days in life are the day you were born and the day you find out why.”

It has always been my passion to provide solutions to communities, hospitals, and healthcare providers that enhance their quality of life and help them to reach their goals. Building relationships is a key component of moving individuals, teams, and organizations forward. Being passionate was a characteristic of Albert Einstein who said, “I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.” Being curious leads to solutions.

Personal values are important to me. If I had to pick my top 5, they would be Humility, Integrity, Trustworthiness, Generosity, and Self-Discipline. My values define my character and ultimately my reputation, and that is what I have to offer. Values form the foundation of both purpose and passion, and ultimately my mission in life. I love this quote by Maya Angelou, “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
